Atlanta’s police chief resigned and a police officer was fired after the shooting of a black man, Rayshard Brooks, who later died. Mr. Brooks, 27 years old, of Atlanta, was shot outside a Wendy’s restaurant Friday night and died soon after. Videos of parts of his struggle with police and its aftermath, widely shared on social media, sparked anger in the city, amid the continuing national outcry over the police killing of George Floyd last month.
Wade Evans comment on Rayshard Brooks kill
Wade Evans On Facebook said It is real simple. Comply and let the court sort it out. This perp should have shut up but he kept talking. Talked himself right into a solid DUI charge with some good evidence. Instead of taking the charge and fighting it in court he chose to use force.
Police officers should meet force with more force because if they allow a cop puncher to walk, all clowns will start punching cops. LEOs should not be expected to use a taser on you if you steal their taser. This is not the wild west. Cops always bring a gun to the fight and if you use force against them, they have the right to use the greatest force against you.
These officers were professionals and they respected this perp. The warranted use of force was a decision made by the drunk when he decided to punch the cop, then take his taser, then turn the taser on the cop. If you do not see that, please use your words and explain your perspective to me.
The fools in these cities could easily change their laws and it would stop the interactions with police. Get rid of DUI laws and these cops would not even have been called. I mean the drunk driver caused fatalities would go up and innocent families would die but hey, the criminal would drive while intermittently sleeping.
These cities lawmakers, mostly Democrat, blaim the police for enforcing the law that they themselves could simply abolish. They don’t have the stones to do that and they lack the courage to call the criminals out. Spineless leadership is the root of these issues.
the point is that cops enforce the laws that are made by politicians. If you bring force to them, expect to be neutralized in whatever way it happens. We as a society need to get back to reality. If you get arrested, the courts are where the justice is handled.
